Sleep Coaching
Move Better. Feel Stronger. Sleep Deeper.
Sleep is the foundation of health, energy, mood, and long-term wellbeing.
Yet for many people, it’s the first thing to suffer when life becomes busy, stressful, or unbalanced.
At El Búho Fitness, sleep coaching is a practical, supportive, and personalised process designed to help you improve your sleep, restore your energy, and feel better day to day.
What is sleep coaching?
Sleep coaching works in a similar way to personal training.
Instead of being handed generic advice, you are guided step by step, with structure, support, and accountability.
We work together using:
-
Sleep diaries and simple tracking
-
Clear, realistic action plans
-
Lifestyle and routine adjustments
-
Regular check-ins and feedback
We work in structured blocks, track progress along the way, and adapt the plan as needed.
You are fully supported throughout — you’re never left to figure it out alone.

My approach
My background is in personal training, with nearly 20 years of experience working with clients of all ages and abilities. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand how closely sleep is linked to:
-
Energy levels
-
Recovery and injury risk
-
Motivation and consistency
-
Mood and mental wellbeing
Alongside this professional experience, I also bring real, lived experience.
For several years, I personally struggled with insomnia and chronic sleep deprivation, which led to:
-
Constant tiredness
-
Low mood
-
Anxiety
-
Poor concentration
-
Feeling exhausted but unable to switch off
Through education, experimentation, and sustainable lifestyle change, I rebuilt my sleep — and with it, my overall health.
That journey strongly shapes how I coach others today.
Professional Background & Qualifications
I am a qualified Sleep Recovery Coach, alongside being a fully qualified personal trainer with almost 20 years of hands-on client experience in the UK and Spain.
My coaching combines:
-
Evidence-based sleep education
-
Practical, real-life strategies
-
Long-term habit change
-
A supportive, non-judgemental approach
This allows me to help clients make meaningful improvements without unrealistic rules or quick fixes.
Looking at the Whole Picture
Sleep doesn’t exist in isolation.
That’s why we look at the whole picture, including:
-
Your personal sleep patterns and history
-
Daily stress and mental load
-
Movement and exercise habits
-
Nutrition and hydration
-
Evening routines and bedtime behaviours
-
Light exposure, technology use, and sleep environment
Small, well-chosen changes — applied consistently — create lasting results.
Who Is Sleep Coaching For?
Sleep coaching is for people who feel they aren’t getting enough quality sleep, and are experiencing the knock-on effects in daily life.
Common consequences of poor sleep include:
-
Persistent fatigue and low energy
-
Low mood or irritability
-
Anxiety or feeling overwhelmed
-
Poor focus, memory, and concentration
-
Reduced motivation
-
Increased cravings and poor appetite control
-
Slower recovery from exercise
-
Weakened immune function
-
Feeling foggy, flat, or disconnected
-
Reliance on caffeine just to get through the day
If this sounds familiar, sleep coaching can help.
